Stamp It Up in Support of Mental Health
January 15, 2011My friend Bridget came up with the following entry for the Canada Post Mental Health Stamp Design Competition … I think she did a great job and that the competition itself is a very cool idea. If you like Bridget’s design, please give it vote on the site … I know she would really appreciate your support.
Happy New Year!
January 7, 2011Where does the time go? Can’t believe it’s yet another new year … since it’s the year of the rabbit, this is the design that I came up with for my Christmas cards (yes, I did manage to get them out on time):
Here’s to only the best of things for everyone in 2011!
P.S. The D.A.D. Project that my sister and I started last June is still going strong … if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, we welcome you to give us a visit!

July 18, 2010A little more than a month old …
July 16, 2010It’s hard to believe that The D.A.D. Project is a little over a month old (official anniversary date was July 7, 2010). Em and I are still having fun coming up with our weekday creations and sharing them with everyone. Our guest artists have also been extremely generous in their donations and support – thanks again to everyone.
If you haven’t seen them already, here are a few of the illustrations that I came up with in the past couple of weeks:
We’re looking forward to celebrating another anniversary!
The D.A.D. Project – Week #2
June 20, 2010Week #2 with The Dad Project went really well: by the end of it, we had sold 17 prints (including the two donated by our Feature Friday guest artists, John Bagnell and High on Craft) and received some generous direct donations through our Canadian Cancer Society Team webpage. Thanks to everyone for their generous and enthusiastic support!
Here are the two illustrations that I came up with for last week:
I guess being airborne was really on my mind or something!
Thanks for continuing to tune in
Drawings for Dad
June 11, 2010So our first week of The D.A.D. Project is coming to a close and I think we’re off to a pretty good start. Em and I took turns posting drawings and today we feature another artist who will be donating a piece of artwork of their own.
In case you haven’t had a chance to check out the D.A.D. website, these are the two illustrations that I came up with for this week:
We managed to sell two prints and received our first direct donation through our team page on the Canadian Cancer Society website. Thanks again to everyone for all your support, kind words and enthusiasm with our fundraising project!
