Running away to join the circus

It was March Break this past week and my friend enrolled her two young boys into camp at the Toronto School of Circus Arts. Since today was the last day, they put on a performance for the parents (I tagged along with my friend) — amazing what they learned in a week! They strutted their stuff on the static trapeze, aerial hoop and aerial silks and in acrobatics and tumbling. The kids were obviously having a ball with their faces painted like clowns.

I remember doing a class with the School a few years ago when they were located downtown (got to do the flying trapeze  — wheeeee!). A lot of fun but be prepared for quite the challenging workout and some sore muscles in the days to follow!
