A little more than a month old …

July 16, 2010

It’s hard to believe that The D.A.D. Project is a little over a month old (official anniversary date was July 7, 2010).  Em and I are still having fun coming up with our weekday creations and sharing them with everyone.  Our guest artists have also been extremely generous in their donations and support – thanks again to everyone.

If you haven’t seen them already, here are a few of the illustrations that I came up with in the past couple of weeks:

I have loved this commercial since the first time I saw it (even with Michael Bolton howling in the background):

Then I found his “further adventures” … adorable:

How can you NOT feel for this little guy?!

When I received the words for today’s CSOTD, my first thought was of a cemetery … then I decided to go a less morbid route:

Pretty corny

August 26, 2009

I recently bought a box of Kellogg’s Corn Pops cereal but have to admit that they don’t seem to taste as good as what I remember when eating them as a kid. Did you know that they use “fancy molasses” to make these guys, not just plain ol’ molasses … curious to know exactly what the difference is  …

So in line with the whole maize theme, here’s today’s Creative Something of the Day (CSOTD):
