Today’s CSOTD (Creative Something of the Day) is dedicated to my ultra cool sister who is on a knitting tear … she’s made matching hats for herself, my Dad and me … Mom’s next! Thanks Em … you know I’m still eyeing those cable wrist warmers.
My sis is behind mchenwears, some pretty fabulous self-designed and printed clothing, from t-shirts to onesies to t-dresses … and she’s celebrating her one year Etsy-versary with a fun giveaway where you can win a $50 credit at her online store. The draw happens tomorrow (sorry for the late post) so you still have time to enter by visiting here.
Good luck to all those who enter!
And here’s my CSOTD for today:
My super talented sis, Emily, is at it again with another new and exciting project of hers: she’s picked up painting after a 10-year hiatus to partake in “Word Up”, a group exhibit hosted at CycleLogik in Ottawa. Check out her very cool, colourful and amazing diptych done up in acrylic paint, Sharpies and pencil. Way to go, Em … as always, you WOW and inspire me! 🙂
And for today’s Creative Something of the Day (CSOTD):
My sister recently wrote a post about her honeybee rescue so I thought I’d add to it with this cute/funny clip that shows off some stinging dance moves and promotes a thoughtful message at the same time (courtesy of Haagen Dazs’ loves Honey Bees campaign):
Love them costumes and bee hats!
And for today’s CSOTD (Creative Something of the Day):
Just found out that mchen wears and rikrak studio, two fabulously talented and artistic ladies, are hosting a combo giveaway for one of mchen wears’ silkscreened t-shirts. The winner will be drawn at 9:00pm on Tuesday, May 26th so check it out and enter now!
For today’s CSOTD (Creative Something of the Day):
Through my sister (she deserves a blog post of her own so that will come soon), I learned of a fellow blogger who is also doing his own CSOTD (“creative something of the day”) and sharing it with others.
More impressively, Brian Hartley has been doing this since January 1, 2009! (See? I KNEW I should have stuck with my new year’s resolution!) Enjoy Harto’s Daily Doodle — lots of happy colours and his characters are full of personality.
And now for my own CSOTD:
